Hosteria Los Cedros De Mindo

I had a peaceful and nature-filled stay at Hosteria Los Cedros De. The surrounding vegetation was a sight to behold, with plants, parrots, and hummingbirds creating a tranquil atmosphere. The highlight was enjoying breakfast on the balcony, overlooking lush greenery and being visited by beautiful hummingbirds. The rooms were rustic yet comfortable, with reliable internet, cozy beds, and refreshing hot showers. And safe private parking for my car was a great convenience.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of evening food/bar service and the need for more information about Mindo's activities available to guests, these did not overshadow the overall positive experience.

The cabin was well-tucked in the forest providing beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Having breakfast with birds and wildlife around was a unique experience. The owners were hospitable and accommodating, offering suggestions for local activities and even providing clothes for the guests.

It is located a considerable distance from the main town, making it inconvenient for guests who want to explore outside. , the town had no working ATM, and most things need to be paid for in cash, which was inconvenient for me.

Totally immersed in nature. Cute staff. Beautiful garden with hummingbirds. Convenient location.

Nothing that I didn't like.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner and manager were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They were always available to help with anything I needed, and even provided clothes when it rained unexpectedly. I loved waking up to the sight of hummingbirds flying around the beautiful garden. The breakfast area was stunning, and the croissants were the best I've ever had! The owner was so generous that if I wanted more of anything, he happily provided it.

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable hotel.

Spent New Year's Eve at a cozy cabin nestled in the middle of nature. the view of the garden filled with hummingbirds was breathtaking and the breakfast was delicious. the owner was very helpful and recommended a variety of activities in the area. the location was perfect, only a short walk from the town center but still surrounded by the cloud forest. Plus, a friendly dog kept us company on our adventures!

That the town center didn't have a working ATM so make sure to bring plenty of cash. be prepared for the occasional insect visitor in the room.

We had a fantastic stay and loved the beautiful surroundings and being in the middle of nature. The garden was filled with different species of colorful hummingbirds, made for a great show. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome, even though we didn't speak the same language. They were helpful in explaining the activities in the area and even provided transportation to the city center. The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the breakfast area was amazing.

The room we were assigned was not clean and had no proper ventilation. the windows had cracks in them, which allowed many insects and spiders to enter.
